It's a simple question, however, I have not been able to find the answer to my query; how DO we live, love and laugh throughout our lives?
It's not found by keeping up with the news, quite the opposite. It's not placing expectations on others and becoming dependent on someone else to help us live, love and laugh. Both money and love can be fleeting, and neither flood our soul with the internal enrichment and happiness that simply stated over the centuries, money cannot buy.
If you search how to live, love and laugh on the Internet, you will find cyber space shopping opportunities to purchase paraphernalia embossed with the famous quote, books to help us seek the route to become a person who just might live, love and laugh. . . and then there are the songs entitled live, love and laugh, poetry the bears the same semblance and self-proclaimed experts selling us materials to make us aware that to live, love and laugh is a possibility.
It must be quite complex, this live, love and laugh scenario, however, I found a poem that I think best reflects the possibility is truly ours:
Live well dear friends
In all you do,
Tho’ paths be old
Or paths be new,
But to yourself
Be ever true,
Live well!
And so this is the ode to which this blog is dedicated; to live well, remember to laugh along the way, and love the journey, where ever it may take us, and to remember the importance of being true to ourselves.
It's so easy to neglect the need to fill our souls, that god-shaped internal vacuum that was placed into our beings for a purpose. If there's a void within our souls, how will we ever learn to live, love and laugh. . .and perhaps that is why the how-tos to guide us into a well traveled path to present the magical formula to live, love and laugh is nonexistent. It's found on the internal, and not the external.
So join me on this path as I blog about the absolute possibility that to live, love and laugh is the best and only way to live. . .if we labor to pursue it through all of our actions, thoughts and deeds. And so much the better is we find a role model who lives this motto, and hold ourselves up to that example. Thank you Sparkie, for being that role model for me!
